As many of us move into our second week without power and heat, as we hear election results, as we stand in line for gas, as we prepare for another storm, I urge all of us to “hold ourselves with care.” Fatigue is high. Emotions are up and down. Anger and grumpiness are on the rise. This is a time when accidents happen and we lose our tempers with one another. So, please, hold yourself with care. Don’t take unnecessary risks. Accept a neighbor or family’s offer of help. Give yourself extra time and space to get through this trying time.
If you have reached your wit’s end, please call one of the ministers or the church office (908-273-3245) for counsel and care. We want to hear from you.
