UULMNJ is helping in their efforts. Below are two sites who need assistance.
Organizations that need assistance:
- Lazos America Unida in New Brunswick, badly needs blankets, coats, socks, gloves, and other winter gear. Battery-powered lights would also be really helpful. Their number is (732) 745-8666, they are located at 2 Kirkpatrick Street. They are acting as a distribution point for people in New Brunswick still without power, as well as bringing supplies down to Lakewood and Freehold, where they are working w/ Casa Freehold on storm relief.
- Ancient Arts Healing Center: 3535 Quakerbridge Road Suite 102, Ibis Plaza, Hamilton NJ
Collecting: Toiletries, Personal care products, baby items, pet food, non-perishables, first aid kits, batteries, water, socks/underwear, blankets, instant tea/coffee. Saturday 9 AM – 4 PM (Nov 10th) and Thursday and Friday from 8 AM – 8 PM.
