Preacher: Rev. Vanessa Southern
9:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.
This week, as the Fifth Graders share with us their most cherished Principle of Unitarian Universalism, we reflect on the first principle of our seven, “the worth and dignity of every person.” So much else of what we believe is built on that statement, but is it true? It is a fitting topic to revisit on a Sunday that also precedes the one year anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings in Newtown, Connecticut, and the horrors of which every person is capable.
Religious Education: Come hear what our 5th graders have to say about their favorite principles. Then stay after services or come before the second service to make holiday crafts.
