Is there something that you do (or something that you avoid doing) because the behavior or activity is “gendered” in a way that conflicts with how you identify? What would happen if you went ahead and entered into moments of gender creativity in your own life. Join our returning Summer Ministerial Intern, Craig Rubano, as he uses the image of mermaids to teach us how we can live into gender creativity.
Craig Rubano is a candidate for ministerial ordination in the Unitarian Universalist Association. He just finished his PhD in Pastoral Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary, where he also received a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology, the latter in Pastoral Care. Craig continues to enjoy a career as a singer and storyteller which has taken him around the world – from Broadway to the UU Congregation of Princeton’s vibrant Music Ministry. Craig also holds degrees in Philosophy and Comparative Literature from Yale and Columbia Universities.
