Winter is definitely upon us, and along with that, the potential for weather related cancellations. If this happens, information will be posted on the church website, and an email may be sent, as needed, to at the email address where you normally receive your church communications.
UCS also has the ability to send text messages to anyone who has registered to receive them. To receive a text message, you need to have already set up a login in our church database (ACS).
To set up text messaging:
Log in here and look for: I want to view
From there, click My Complete Profile
Next, click: Contact Information
If there is a cell number there already, click the pencil to edit.
If not, to the right of Phone Number, click Add, and add a cell number.
Click the Receive Text Messages box.
It will ask you for your carrier, so indicate that. A text will be sent to your phone that you will have to respond to, and then texting will be set up.
