What is the Services Auction? It is Beacon’s biggest fundraiser and a great party for everyone, adults and kids. Lively conversation, great food, a live auction, a silent auction and the ever-popular children’s party.
How can I participate? Attend the party, donate, volunteer, be a bidder in the Live Auction or the Silent Auction, or proxy bid (if you can’t attend the party). You can contribute to the success of the evening in lots of ways.

What in the world could I possibly donate? Share your interests, passions or talents (your light) with the congregation. Organize an indoor or outdoor group activity. Host a meal or party centered on your favorite food, holiday or occasion. Teach others your favorite craft, game or skill. Also, consider co-hosting an event with someone else. Many hands make light work. P.S., if you are a chili chef, we need your talents:

It’s a chance to “Shine Your Light” and show the congregation who you are and what you love. And remember, if you can’t attend, you can submit a Proxy bid form and have someone bid for you! The Annual Services Auction is our largest fundraiser, with donations contributed by members.
Members and friends gather for a fun evening and bid on services, events and goods. A children’s program and excellent food make this a fun occasion for all.

There are price points for everybody. One of the highlights of the auction is the wide variety of dinners offered by members. These dinners foster a sense of community throughout the year in addition to being a lot of fun.
Your $20 admission ticket will include dinner and a bidder number to use in both the silent and live auctions. With the ever popular (included in your admission) party for children upstairs, there’s no need to get a babysitter!
