For most of us, democracy is a government structure, a public act, or a theory of how we make large scale decisions.  And yet adrienne maree brown reminds us that democracy can also be practiced in the home, between two people, and in small neighborhoods.  As we prepare for a year that marks 250 years of the United States, and quickly toward election season, what does the intimate practice of democracy mean in our lives?
