A New Story: Releasing a Dream for Hope

In our country right now, there is a common argument.  Something awful happens that tramples democracy and we hear people cry out: "this isn't who we are!"  Almost immediately, another group cries out, "But this is who we are and who we have been!"  Moving between all of us is a great grief at where we are.  Is there a way to let go of the story we tell ourselves to open to a new possibility?
