As a newcomer, Sundays are your first step. You’ll meet wonderful, like-hearted people, find opportunities to be of service, and feel renewed for the week ahead.
Then, come to Starting Point. It’s a three-part series of conversations exploring your questions about religion, Unitarian Universalism and the Beacon community. For our newcomers raised in other religious traditions or none whatsoever, Starting Point is a great first step to understanding what we mean by “religion” or “religious community.”
Each Starting Point is led by Beacon members and meets 12:15 pm Sundays for thirty minutes. And you don’t have to do them in order!
- Starting Point 1 answers the question: What is religion anyway?
- Starting Point 2 is a conversation about the essentials of Unitarian Universalism.
- Starting Point 3 delves into what Beacon is all about.
