Summit Warm Hearts

Summit Warm Hearts is a program of the Summit Interfaith Council. We opened our doors in January 2020 to our neighbors without shelter. Among our neighbors include friends who have grown up in Summit, lived here for decades and with whom we have had enduring connections.

Spring/Summer/Early Fall Hours - Tuesday & Saturday 9:00 AM-1:00 PM

Will you support the needs of our unhoused neighbors?

We are open for 4 hours every day, so that those who want to shower and have a warm place to recharge can do so.

Will you volunteer for a shift or two this winter as a host?

Meals are greatly appreciated by our guests!  Consider the makings for sandwiches (rather than already made), or food that will keep for a few days or freeze easily so there is no waste.

Will you also consider signing up to bring food for 8-10?

Lastly, we have towels that need laundering weekly.

Will you volunteer to wash towels? If you live close by and can pick up towels on a Tuesday or Saturday and return them the next week, that would be fabulous!
