Carrying on the Light of Liberation
Too often we leave Black History Month and other "radical holidays of reflection" without continuing the great work and legacy that we are called to. Too often we have seen in history how the great struggles of our times are seemingly abandoned when we reach a "good stopping point" of sorts. It's important to make sure that the "arc of the moral universe" keeps bending towards justice and equity and it's on us to do it.
Join us as Pablo Vazquez, our Intern Minister, speaks to us not just of the duty we are called towards but also on how carrying together that Light of Liberation can transform us into what our congregation is uniquely conditioned towards being: A Beacon of hope, love, inclusivity, justice, equity, and beloved community.
Join the conversation on Beacon’s Slack channel #sundaychat.
