What are Beacon’s safety protocols for COVID-19?
Beacon prioritizes health and safety when planning our services and events. To that end, our Safety Team is regularly monitoring a combination of factors (COVID-19 vaccinations, positive cases, hospitalization and mortality rates). We are also committed to following national and NJ state guidelines.
You can help us maintain in-person services and events by following these guidelines.
Self-Assessment: If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms (fever, chills, loss of taste or smell, muscle pain, difficulty breathing, sore throat), please stay home and join our virtual services. If you’ve been in contact with anyone with COVID-19 and you do not have symptoms, you’re welcome to attend in-person events. While at Beacon, keep your mask on at all times and avoid eating or drinking indoors.
Vaccinations: We expect that participants eligible for the vaccine will be fully vaccinated and boosted. We understand that participants with health issues may choose not to be vaccinated; that’s one of the primary reasons we’ve maintained our virtual services.
Air Purification & Hand Sanitizing: We’ve upgraded air filtration in our HVAC units throughout our building to maximize safety. Hand sanitizing stations are located throughout our building.
Masks: We recommend that all participants be masked while at Beacon services and events. We are happy to provide masks at our Welcome Table if you should forget yours.
