Celebrating Life’s Moments
Beacon celebrates important moments with you. From child blessings & dedications, weddings, commitment ceremonies, to memorial services and celebrations of life, we have a team eager to work with you and create a personalized ceremony for you and your loved one.
Working with our ordained ministry team or our other professional staff to create the best ceremony specific to your needs is easy. Our sanctuary and reception hall are designed to seat up to 150. The building is handicap accessible and is well equipped to make your event run smoothly.
We are committed to being radically inclusive and welcome all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation or religious affiliation.
Blessing & Dedication Ceremonies
At Beacon, we know that welcoming a baby into your family is a momentous occasion. Our dedication ceremonies honor such a moment. Our ministers and staff work with parents to create a ceremony that celebrates their values and traditions. Most often, we begin the ceremony by sharing the meaning and significance of the child’s name, followed by a dedication of parents and gathered family and friends to the child. We often weave story and song and blessing into these ceremonies. Afterward the service, our light-filled Fellowship Hall is available for receptions.
Weddings, Vow Renewal & Commitment Ceremonies
Whether you are getting married for the first time or renewing your vows after twenty-five years, Beacon offers a beautiful space to celebrate the love shared between people. Our ministers and staff meet with the couple to craft a ceremony that honors the couple’s love and commitment to one another. Through music and ritual, vows and blessings, your ceremony will be one to remember!
Memorial Services & Celebrations of Life
A Beacon memorial service is grounded in celebrating the life and stories of the deceased. Our ministers and staff work with family members to craft a service where the audience feels held in their loss, commemorates what they loved about the person, and even learns something they never knew about their life. Even when our ministers don’t know the person, we craft eulogies from gathered family stories and remembrances that honor the fullness of the person’s life. Afterward the service, our light-filled Fellowship Hall is available for receptions.
