Centering the Revolutionary Spirit
Today, on this Bastille Day, we bring up the spirit of revolution and how important it is to our prophetic legacy to speak truth to power and fight the powers that be. Whether it is to challenge the oppression of religious orthodoxy, state injustice, structural racism, or pervasive intolerance, we must keep the revolutionary spirit lest we encourage that which oppresses us and our brethren.
