Juneteenth Celebration via Zoom Wednesday, June 19 at 7 PM

Join us on Wednesday, June 19 at 7 PM for a Zoom conversation with Rebecca L. Williams about this year's theme of Sankofa. The meeting, "Looking Back on our Past to Move Forward with Purpose for a Brighter Future," is presented by the organization Social Justice Matters. Juneteenth Celebration of Freedom in Scotch Plains June 22 from 12:00-7:00 pm

This year's Juneteenth event will be marked with the theme “Celebration of Freedom” and celebrated with musical and dance performances, balloon art, games, mini golf, face painting and other activities with events being free and open to all.

Sponsored by Social Justice Matters, Inc. (SJM), this event will feature food trucks, 40 information booths from local Black-owned businesses owners and vendors.
