Loads of Love Community Laundry Project

Beacon is partnering with SmartSudz laundromat in Newark. They are creating a literary space for children and they are in need of books, crayons, and coloring books. The owner is a strong proponent of literary encouragement, and is hoping for ongoing support of materials. The materials collected will be made available for children to take home. SmartSudz also offers free laundry days and would love to give supplies to their clients. Beacon will sponsor a laundry day In mid-March. Laundry day donations include soap, bleach, and fabric softener.

We will start collecting supplies in the lobby on February 26, after both services. Thank you for your support.
