Rise Up for Roe, 12 PM on January 22, 2023

Are you ready to Rise Up for Roe? The Women's March this year encouraged us to organize local marches, and that's just what Beacon is doing. On Sunday, January 22, 2023, at noon – the 50th anniversary of the landmark decision of Roe v Wade that guaranteed greater reproductive freedoms – we will rise up for Roe and in fact, commit to working on a vision of reproductive justice that is bigger than Roe. We will gather on Beacon's Springfield Avenue steps at 4 Waldron Avenue.

Abortion Care Transportation Providers Needed

Transportation to and from abortion services is necessary to ensure abortion access. Our partners at UU FaithAction NJ notified Beacon's Reproductive Justice team that drivers are needed from Union County to provide rides to/from various locations (e.g., Englewood, Newark, Montclair, Hackensack)
