Trunk-or-Treat - October 30
Halloween is less than a week away and we’re hosting our 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 30! This event will be held in the parking lot at 695 Springfield Avenue.
Bring the kids in your family to trick-or-treat from 12:30 to 1:30 PM. There will also be a scavenger hunt and other activities.
Invite your neighbors to come for trick-or-treating! We're encouraging kids to save up some pennies to donate to support Summit Warm Hearts. Beacon will be matching donations 10 cents for every penny for the first $225 that is donated at the Trunk-or-Treat. If we get to that total - $225 donated + $2250 match - it will be enough to support one week of Summit Warm Hearts' overnight program. (Donations are welcome; they are not required to participate.)
Stop by 695 Springfield Avenue to take in this event, enjoy cider and doughnuts, visit Jen Skarda-McCann's car, where she will have free resources about estate planning, finding resources for you and your loved ones, and the support that Beacon's community can offer, as well as opportunities to support Beacon through planned giving.

Beacon members, sign up to decorate your car and hand out treats. (Please complete your set-up no later than 12:30 PM.) Email Carol Conger Miller or Jen Skarda-McCann to sign up. A trophy awaits the best decorated car!
