World Religions for Fall 2024
The World Religions (Zoom) discussion group meets at 1 PM on the second and fourth Tuesdays each month.
Anyone who is curious is especially invited to try a session to watch and discuss lectures from a Great Courses course. This year we return to the group’s roots with "The History and Archaeology of the Bible," by Prof. Jean-Pierre Isbouts. Each of his lectures is devoted to a book or division in the Judeo-Christian Bible. He deepens our understanding by weaving in the historical and archaeological wisdom of ancient civilizations.
Our fall dates are Sept. 10 & 22, Oct. 15 & 29, Nov. 12 & 26, and Dec. 10. Please contact Lessie Culmer-Nier (lculmern@drew.edu or 973-452-1340) with questions and to get the Zoom login information.
